This gin is a Scotch liquor that is produced by William Grant & Sons. The brand is distilled by the Girvan Distillery which is located in South Ayshire, Scotland. The ABV (Alcohol by Volume) content in Hendricks Gin is 44% and is offered in different sizes including 1L, 750 Ml and 1.75L. This gin has an elegantly smooth palate, a range of complex aromas, sublimely balanced tones of juniper, and delicate notes of cucumber and rose petal essence.
Short History
The individual who invented this gin is known as Leslie Gracie, a Yorkshire native hired by William Grant & Sons to develop premium gin. Lesley Gracie and Grant’s master distiller came up with this exceptional gin by marrying a rare and subtle spirit from a Cater-Head still and a pungent, the traditional juniper- based spirit distilled in old Bennet Pot still since the 1860s.
Botanicals Used
The two gin masters then added cucumber, Bulgarian rose petal essence and 11 other botanicals to add flavor. These other botanical notes include
coriander, orris, caraway, chamomile, cubeb pepper, orange and lemon peel, elderflower, angelica, and yarrow. Hendricks’s Brand is the mixologists favorite liquor.
